In terms of your work as an educator, how useful was the content of this course?
(scale of 1-5, 105 total ratings)

Data from participants from Cohorts 1 (June-July 2020),  2 (July 2020), 3 (August 2020), 5 (September 2020), 6 (October 2020), 7 (November-December 2020), and 8 (January-February 2021). Ratings through 2-20-2021 included.

In the above data, Cohort 4 is not included because it was a Cohort made up of the entire staff of one Ohio school district. In that cohort, the average ratings were 4.46 and 4.19, respectively. I’m proud of these numbers we well, as they were from a set of educators who did not choose to participate.

This was one of the most useful classes I have ever taken.
Really great class! I was familiar with most of these tools already but still learned a lot about using each of them. I thought the course content was REALLY well organized and easy to navigate. I also thought the tutorials for each tool were accessible for people of all skill/comfort levels. Jake and Annette were AMAZING and quick with their support and answering questions. I would HIGHLY recommend this class to my colleagues!
I liked that we were given the opportunity to see the "student end" of things - it makes planning and prepping so much easier when you understand how the students will see and use these tools, too.
I really enjoyed the flexibility of the course and how you clearly laid everything out in Google Classroom. So incredibly organized!
Through learning all of this new technology I feel like I am a much better teacher and able to present the curriculum in a variety of ways to make lessons interactive for my students.
I enjoyed every minute.
I’m beyond pleased with what I have been exposed to in this class, it has inspired me to really dig dip into authentic assessments and checking for understanding during a lesson.
The structure of this course worked out perfectly for me. In between my remote meetings, I could jump on and watch a video or work on an assignment.
Thank you for helping me learn and improve ways I can implement tech into my classroom! Your lessons were well planned out and thorough!
I really liked being able to work at my own pace. The videos were very helpful, and I am looking forward to rewatching them in the future if I get stuck or need a "refresher" before I jump into using them in the classroom this year.
I learned exactly what I needed to and am ready to teach remotely with these great tools in August. I recommended this workshop to two of my colleagues.
The course introduce(d) the latest and most useful technology resources for teachers. The schedule was well outlined and explained with videos and feedback. I enjoyed the flexibility of working on the lessons at my own pace. Mr. Miller was engaging and informative in his videos. He provided timely feedback and support. He shared many resources and great tutorials. It was reassuring to know the goal of the course and the requirements the first day of "class". I would highly recommend this course to my colleagues and friends.
So glad I took this class!
This was a great course! I really liked that I could pause and work at my own pace when I had a lot of other things going on!
I loved how everything in the class came together in the end. I feel extremely prepared to integrate more technology into my everyday classroom.
I thought this whole course was just the right amount of work and allowed me to learn so much! I loved the work at your own pace aspect.
I really appreciated the relaxed and asynchronous format of this. My availability varied greatly, so being able to do this in manageable chunks was a lifesaver! Also, thank you for not making us go through the motions with a platform we know we'd never use and giving us a choice!
I truly enjoyed this class and learned material that is going to enrich my instruction this year!
This was great. I appreciated the interactivity even though it was asynchronous. It was good from a content standpoint, but also was a good example of how you can structure a course asynchronously while still have teacher/student and student/student interactions.
When signing up for this class, my goal was to learn one new thing with all the technology presented. The knowledge and activities presented went beyond learning one new thing.
Wow!! This was an awesome class! Finally something useful I can use. I now have my Master's Plus 30, which is the end of the pay level for me. This is probably the last graduate class I'll ever take, and what a great one to end with!
Loved the course, I got so much more than I expected from it!

I am so glad I took this course. I am not really tech savvy and I was a little worried about my ability to grasp and understand the material. However, as soon as I did my first Flipgrid video, I realized that I didn't have to be a tech expert! . . . Thanks, Jake for such a rewarding educational experience.

Thank you, Jake, for going so in-depth during our introductions to these tools! I learned a lot by playing around and using them.
This course has brought excitement to my lesson planning which after 30+ years is truly saying something.
I feel I have so many more tools to select from when lesson planning.

A note from Jake:

I have to be honest.

Not every participant’s feedback was as glowingly positive as the ones that I shared above. This is probably unsurprising since the course fell slightly below perfect 5’s on the ratings above. I am constantly using the constructive feedback from participants as feedforward to make the course even better for future participants!
